During this four week period, we will design and develop things and/or situations that we can imagine living with in 2049. This designed *thing*/situation is to be relevant to domestic settings.

The aim is to use design as a way of exploring and unfolding potential futures, based on knowledge we can garner both in the present, and of the present. The project should be used as a way to raise issues, debates, complications and questions, while fleshing out, or making more tangible, ideas about what the future holds given what we can see happening now.

But we are not going to just imagine any future, we are going to imagine ourselves, or a version of ourselves, in that future.
