Plasticity – Lloyd Wright

I stumbled upon this quote back in 2006, when running a studio called Plasticity.
I re-stumbled across it again tonight:

“Plasticity may be seen in the expressive flesh covering the skeleton as contrasted with the articulation of the skeleton itself. In my work the idea of plasticity may now be seen as the element of continuity.”

Frank Lloyd Wright (quoted in Colin Rowe, The Architecture of Good Intentions, London: Academy Editions, 1995, p129)
